Celtic inspired jewellery for the person in your life who loves everything Irish, this 'Triquetra' motif is seen frequently in much of the old Irish art.

The Story Card accompanying this pendant reads:

'The Celtic triangle is found in much of the old Irish art such as, The Book Of Kells. This 'triquetra' formation features three silver balls on the triangle, three being considered a lucky number in Irish culture. It is also known in pagan culture as the 'Trinity Knot', in honour of the Mother, symbolising the three life cycles of woman in relation to the phases of the moon'.

Materials: Sterling silver, sterling silver snake chain

Thinking and Process: This beautiful piece is pain-stakingly created completely from silver wire, including the balls in the centre. Due to it's finesse, there are thirteen individual solder joins, each one fired up individually. The piece has been oxidised to highlight the balls as well as sit in between the lines of silver creating the structure. Traditional jewellery techniques used as well as soldering and oxidation were also piercing and manipulation of the silver wire. Each piece is made from scratch so will be slightly different to the one pictured, making it unique to the wearer.

Dimensions: 1.2mm x 18" snake chain, pendant approximately 35mm x 42mm
